Privacy, in plain language.
This notice explains what Pixelent ("we") collects through pixelent.ai, including conversations with Pixel, our AI agent, the instant site check and the contact form, and how we use it. It does not cover the websites and agents we build for clients; each client publishes its own notice.
What we collect
- Chat conversations with Pixel: the messages you send and Pixel's replies, the page you were on, and the time.
- Details you choose to share: such as your name, email, website, business type, inquiry volume and budget range, in the chat or the contact form.
- The instant check: the website address and business type you enter. Our checker reads up to two public pages and the robots.txt file of that site, returns the results to your browser, and keeps no copy. If you ask us to email the report, we keep the address, the results and your email to reply.
- On your device: your browser keeps the current chat in session storage so it follows you between pages. It is cleared when you close the tab.
- Technical data: our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address and browser type. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when they load.
We do not use advertising pixels or sell your information. Please don't share health, payment or government ID details in the chat.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and schedule the call or analysis you ask for.
- To send you messages about your request, by email or, if you agree, by text.
- To review conversations and improve Pixel's answers.
- To publish Pixel's monthly scoreboard, which uses totals only and never identifies you.
AI processing
Pixel is an AI agent. When live AI answers are turned on, your messages are sent to an AI model provider to generate replies. Our agreements with providers do not allow them to train on your conversations, and we use zero-retention settings where they are offered.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run this site and respond to you: hosting, the AI model provider, email and scheduling tools, and our CRM and automation tools. They may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Text messages
If you give your mobile number and agree to texts, we send messages about your request, such as confirmations and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is never a condition of working with us.
How long we keep it
We keep chat transcripts and contact details for up to 12 months after our last interaction, unless you become a client, in which case our agreement sets the schedule. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of any marketing. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Security
We limit access to named staff, use multi-factor authentication, keep API keys on our servers rather than in your browser, and log access to conversation data.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
